“After booking our wedding venue at a private home in the Lakes Region, my husband and I struggled to find a caterer that matched the fun and outside-the-box vision we had for our day. We are SO happy that we stumbled upon Vida Cantina! Food, drinks, and service were all excellent. We worked with Caitlin to customize our menu for the cocktail hour and taco bar dinner, accommodating vegan and gluten-free guests. She and chef David even went out of their way to come to the venue for a site visit prior to our date to get a feel for the flow and spacial constraints of the property. The appetizers and tacos were both delicious and beautiful - classy passed hors d’oeuvres were topped with tiny, colorful flower petals and the chorizo-stuffed dates were to die for. Vida even handled the bartending! We had originally planned a DIY bar but changed our minds at the last minute to reduce stress. Vida hit it out of the park with their house margaritas and sangria, AND they brought local draft beer for guests to enjoy. It really felt as if they brought their entire restaurant to us for the evening.
